TD Securities comms infra MD departs

Gaurav Bath has left TD Securities, where he was a managing director (MD) in its New York-based Communications, Media, and Technology group, TMT Finance has learnt.   

He joined TD last year from Truist Securities, as revealed by TMT Finance in October. At the time sources said he would focus on datacentres and satellites, among other sectors. 

One source said that he could be joining a financial sponsor.  

According to his LinkedIn, Bath joined TD in December 2022. Prior to which he spent four years at Truist Securities as MD and head of internet infrastructure.  

Previously, he spent more than eight years at Citi in the bank’s global telecoms and media investment banking team, most recently as MD, and five years at Deutsche Bank.  

TD Securities did not respond to request for comment.
